Mission

Preserve the community's first Fire House

Collect, own, hold, preserve and exhibit historic objects, artifacts, equipment, photos and memorabilia relating to the community and its fire department.

Establish & maintain a history of CSH and its volunteer fire department

Support and uphold a historical research and reference center, issue publications and organize historical and cultural activities, programs and events for the public.

Provide educational programs

Designed to:

• Teach fire prevention and safety in the home and  workplace
• Share the evolution of methods of fire fighting and equipment used through video presentations, exhibits and interactive programs
• Foster community interest and participation in our local fire department
